Providence Lead Medical Assistant - Neurootology in Torrance, California
Description
The Medical Assistant (MA) IV works under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to perform duties as directed to assist in providing patient care to assigned patients. A MA IV is capable of performing all aspects of the MA I and MA II and MA III roles. Additionally, the MA IV serves in a leader role or is highly skilled and trained in multiple complex specialty areas and oversees ambassadors, change agents, quality champions, and preceptors within the clinic.

Required qualifications:
3 years of Medical assisting experience in a clinic setting.
3 years of experience providing a high level of customer service in a fast paced environment, including handling confidential data with discretion.
6 months of working experience in a PSJH clinic within the last 3 years, OR 18 months experience in a Lead MA role in a clinical setting in lieu of
Preferred qualifications:
Coursework/Training and Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program with an externship (Applied learning) Or
Coursework/Training and has completed medical training in the United States Armed Forces. Or
Coursework/Training and Has worked as a Medical Assistant in a clinic environment for at least six months Or
Upon hire: National Medical Assistant Certification
